All SCHLAGE handlesets come with adjustable through-bolts that can slide up and down 1-1/2" - 38mm, eliminating the need to patch or re-drill your door. The patented adjustable through bolt moves up and down 1-1/2" to fit a variety of pre-existing door holes, eliminating the need for patching and re-drilling. The backset for SCHLAGE handlesets features universal latches and deadbolts that fit 2-3/8 inch (60mm) or 2-3/4 inch (70mm) backsets. With a minimum 5-1/2 Center-to-Center distance between cross bore holes, the SCHLAGE handleset is suitable for door thicknesses ranging from 1-5/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches thick.
